Home/Accessibility
Accessible.
By Design.
We want the studio and this website to work for everyone — including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, or who need physical accommodations on the day. Here's where we stand and what to do if something falls short.

Our Commitment
Chelsea Touch is committed to making this site usable by as many people as reasonably possible, and to running a studio where people of any ability feel comfortable booking and visiting. We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA on this website and continue to improve as we build.
N°02
On This Website
We've built this site with accessibility in mind from the ground up. That means:
- Semantic HTML structure so screen readers and assistive tech can parse pages correctly.
- Visible focus indicators and a "Skip to main content" link for keyboard users.
- Color contrast that meets or exceeds WCAG AA on body text and important controls.
- Alt text on meaningful images, captions on key visuals, and form fields with proper labels.
- Reduced-motion support — animations honor your operating system's reduced-motion setting.
- Text that scales cleanly when you zoom your browser to 200%.
We test on current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge, and do periodic checks with a screen reader.

At The Studio
Our Chelsea studio is on the ground floor with a level entrance from West 23rd Street. The treatment rooms are accessible by a short hallway with no steps. Our adjustable massage tables can be lowered for easier transfer, and staff are happy to help with any setup needs.
If you have specific physical, sensory, or communication needs, mention them when you book and we'll prepare for your visit — quieter music, fragrance-free oil, extra bolsters, longer transition time, written rather than spoken intake, and so on. There's no extra charge for accommodations.
N°04
Where We Fall Short
We're a small studio, and parts of this site are still being polished. A handful of older blog images may lack ideal alt text, and some embedded third-party content (a Google Map, for example) is governed by its provider's own accessibility standards. We're working through these items continuously.
